We got the word! Our lead Director of Photography will be ready to go this week after an unfortunate accident. Today our 2nd unit roamed Flushing again, through the junkyard, under the highways and of course, my personal favorite, on the highway. Our movie unit police officers were so cool and escorted us on the highway. I never thought I'd ever go in reverse in the Van Wyck Expressway but they made it happen. Overall we had a short day and used the rest of our time to prep for this week. The days to follow will be location setups, equipment checkouts, a final rehearsal and final blocking for a fight sequence.
